Smart Files started in early 2024 when our founders, working with small and medium-sized businesses, noticed a universal pain point: document management was either too basic (Google Drive, Dropbox) or too enterprise-heavy (SharePoint, DocuSign) with a steep learning curve and a high price tag. There was nothing in between that was powerful, affordable, and genuinely easy to use. We set out to build that missing platform. Within months, Smart Files was processing thousands of documents daily, serving over 2,400 businesses across 30+ countries.
